As governments and organizations around the world take action to fight COVID-19, we here at Digital Tea want to ensure all our valued customers that we have measures in place to ensure the continued performance of your websites, email services and any other projects.

We understand that our clients rely on their website connectivity and email services.  To help alleviate this stress (and remove one more thing to worry about), we thought we’d let you know what contingencies we have in place in case of something disastrous:

  • Our servers are based in a multi-homed (multiple internet feeds) facility with backup generators and uninterruptible power supplies.
  • The servers are all virtual machines, so we can spool up a version of the server in very short order.
  • Backups are performed daily and are stored offsite in four different physical locations – one of those being cloud based

Our employees (the most important part of any company) health is extremely important to us and with the rapidly changing situation, we will be having them telecommute to work.  All of our employees have access to all of our resources remotely, enabling them to be safe and sound while still providing service to our customers.

Furthermore, we are limiting visitors to our office in order to minimize potential exposure to the virus.  We’ll be happy to make other arrangements!

Finally, as you know, we are hiring – but this will unfortunately be delayed (especially interviews) until this passes over.  Rest assured if you have submitted resumes, we will be contacting those qualified applicants with interview times as soon as possible.
