Digital Tea was founded in August of 1999 by three partners. In the beginning, the company focused on two main products: the creation of Web sites and the development of CD‐ROMs.

Our company philosophy is simple. To provide professional quality multimedia services while providing second to none customer service and ensuring that the client is involved with (and throughout!) the entire process - regardless of what process it is. Our philosophy has paid off as Digital Tea currently has over 200 clients from across North America. We are proud to say that we have worked with organizations from all sectors and of all sizes.

We specialize in the creation of attractive, but at the same time very functional Web sites. We believe that all good Web sites serve a purpose other than being a static brochure, and this is reflected throughout the many sites we have designed that include applications such as shopping carts, secure member only sites, calendars, discussion forums and event registration systems.

We have always believed in providing excellent customer service. Ensuring our customers are satisfied and successful is everything to us. Our goal is to always provide the most beneficial and cost effective solution to any client challenge. Our office is located in the south side of Edmonton, where our entire team is located. Unlike most other design studios, our entire team consists of all in‐house staff. We do not use subcontractors - this ensures that all of our clients can talk to someone at Digital Tea that understands their Web site completely.

KORY READ - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & CUSTOMER RELATIONS

Kory brings to Digital Tea a broad base of experiences from art & design, computer sciences, radio broadcasting, and teaching. In addition to having years of professional sales experience, Kory is no stranger to entrepreneurship. As a former business owner himself, Kory knows the hard work that goes into building, marketing, and managing a
successful business and more importantly, building a strong client base. For this reason, you can be confident that you will be taken care of when entering into a partnership with Digital Tea. As our designated Customer Relations Manager, Kory promises to help you understand the design and development process of your website or any
other Digital Tea product or service every step of the way.

MATT EVANS - Production Manager

Matt has 14 years experience in the web industry and has worked on over 100 multimedia projects. With working knowledge of most software packages required for print, web and multimedia design. He also possesses the ability to consult with clients on graphic design and corporate image creation, thus being able to offer clients a wide range of services.

DOUG BANKS - Creative Director

Doug has over 15 years in graphic design experience. His Bachelor of Design Degree from the University of Alberta has given him insight into various styles and forms. This allows for Doug to contribute to client projects with different perspectives. This translates to a more thought out and better designed product for the clients. Doug has been involved in the development of over 75 multimedia projects as well as designed numerous logos, brochures and other promotional materials for clients.

ANDREW SMITH - Programmer

Andrew has been providing programming solutions for over 12 years. With a focus in the Edmonton area, he has worked with over 100 businesses, providing the programming to fulfill a wide range of needs, from on‐line databases to track information to the complete functionality of an E‐commerce system. Andrew specializes in taking applications and incorporating them into the digital medium, whether they are multimedia presentations or Web sites. He is responsible for development of all the applications for our client Web sites. And if you review our portfolio, you will find there are many different types of programming work he has done.
